Our origin

Built by people who have spent careers inside Life Sciences and technology.

After decades of leadership in Life Sciences, medicine, software and global service delivery, our founders saw a recurring pattern: organizations pioneering advances in healthcare and medicines were diverting precious focus to managing complex technology, compliance demands and operational inefficiency.

That sparked a question: what if Life Sciences organizations could concentrate fully on science and growth, while a trusted technology partner handled the complexity?

Ram Venugopalan

Founder, Liorta Innovations

Ram brings more than two decades of leadership across Life Sciences technology, enterprise platforms, global delivery, product engineering, implementation, managed services and customer operations.

His experience spans building and scaling global organizations, leading complex technology transformations, shaping product strategy and working closely with Life Sciences customers to solve operational and technology challenges.

At Liorta, Ram leads the company’s platform, product and technology vision, with a strong emphasis on translating real customer problems into practical, scalable solutions.

Dr. Krishna Bahadursingh

Co-Founder, Liorta Innovations

Dr. Krishna Bahadursingh is a physician and Life Sciences leader with more than three decades of experience across medicine, Patient Safety, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs and pharmaceutical leadership.

Based in Japan, he brings a deep understanding of the Japanese Life Sciences environment, together with extensive experience working across global and regional organizations.

His medical background and long-standing industry experience bring an important perspective to Liorta: technology should be designed around how Life Sciences professionals actually work, the decisions they make and the regulated environments in which they operate.
